YoGO and Come-See-Me!!

Post date: Mar 29, 2009 7:54:7 PM

YoGO is proud to announce 3 events that will take place during Rock Hill's Come-See-Me Festival. The first event is GC1P299 "BE SEEN GREEN with YoGO". We will be walking in the Come-See-Me parade and doing a CITO as well along the parade route. Anyone who wants to walk with us is welcome to join. Check the event on the Geocaching.com page or the YoGO calendar for details.

Next, YoGO will be hosting GC1P2YT "Geocaching: Passport to Fun". This will be a geocaching 101 event aimed at teaching the basics of what geocaching is and how to get started. Also, at the event, YoGO will be handing out our Passport to Fun. With this passport, you will be given a list of caches around Rock Hill. Get the caches on the passport and you can turn it in for your very own trackable geocoin!! Passports can be turned in at the York County Convention & Visitor Bureau office or at YoGO's 3rd Come-See-Me event. The Passport must be completed between Saturday, April 18 and Monday, April 27. This is a limited time event with limited quantities of geocoins. Once the geocoins are gone, they are gone.

The 3rd and final event is GC1P7RJ "Geocaching: Passport to Fun Wrap-up Event". This will be a meet and greet at Firebonz restaurant in Rock Hill. We will be giving out the geocoins to those who successfully complete the passport.

If you are not able to make our second event where we will give out the passports, check back here that evening and you can download the passport and print it.

YoGO would also like to thank the York County Convention & Visitor Bureau and especially Margaret Wallace, Sonja Burris and Mikki Rentschler for all her support of YoGO and geocaching! Without their support, we would not be able to do the things we do.
